37a Nine Mile Ride - New Garden! Limited wheelchair access

A beautifully laid out front and back garden designed by the owner.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Established trees and shrubs give a background to colourful herbaceous plants. A lovely pond and vine covered pergola, productive vegetable garden, fruit trees and greenhouses make this a very worthwhile visit.

 

From Wokingham take the <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />A321 Finchampstead Road towards Sandhurst, at Ford Inchcape roundabout; take the B3016 road towards Finchampstead. Over one roundabout to Bob’s Fish and Chip shop roundabout, turn right into Nine Mile Ride, follow for approx 1 mile, 37A is on the right, opposite White Horse Lane.

Lower Cottage - New Gardens! Wheelchair access, refreshments available, plants for sale

A five-acre garden situated on a slope, which affords far reaching views over three counties. The garden is planted with shrubs, herbaceous and annual plants, many of which are repellent to deer. A lovely garden to stroll around and have tea and home made cakes on the terrace.

 

From Wokingham take the A321 Finchampstead Road towards Sandhurst, at Ford Inchcape roundabout take the B3016 road towards Finchampstead, over one roundabout to Bob’s Fish and Chip shop roundabout, turn right into Nine Mile Ride follow for approx 1 mile, turn left into White Horse Lane, Lower cottage half a mile on the right.

68 Barkham Ride - New Garden! No wheelchair access

Abundant colourful planting, much more suited to a far larger area! Ornamental trees, climbers, shrubs and grasses are all packed into this small but very interesting garden.

 

Leave Wokingham on the A321 Finchampstead Road; continue straight on until roundabout at Ford Inchcape garage turn right onto the B3016. At the first roundabout turn right into Barkham Ride, over mini roundabout and no. 68 is on the left hand side. Please park carefully on this busy road using side roads where necessary.
